In Demon Slayer Chapter 12, titled “The Boar Bares Its Fangs, Zenitsu Sleeps”, Tanjiro advances in the Final Selection after defeating the powerful demon. He continues to survive the grueling seven-day trial on Mount Fujikasane, battling weaker demons and honing his skills. As the Final Selection ends, only a few candidates remain. Tanjiro successfully passes and is officially recognized as a Demon Slayer. He receives his uniform and is asked to select the ore for his custom Nichirin Sword. Meanwhile, he also learns more about the Demon Slayer Corps and its mysterious structure.
